Relaxed and Low-key Activities Abound in Stevens Pass

Family Friendly Fun, ADA Compliant Adventures, and Fun for Young and Old

Take it easy! Life should be about stopping to smell the roses, basking in the sunshine, and generally slowing down. If a day like this seems a bit more up to your speed, Stevens Pass offers up activities perfect for those who enjoy a more deliberate pace. Whether you want to picnic in one of the area’s many parks or find activities that are ADA accessible, Tree Line Vacation Rentals can point you in the right direction. Check out some of our recommended activities below.

SCENIC DRIVES:

-Reiter Rd, Index-Galena Rd, Index WA (2-3 hr.)
Take Index-Galena road through the Wild Sky Wilderness area to the end where it washed out years ago. Head back the way you came for a sip at the River House and a stroll through the quaint town of Index, then continue through town to Reiter Rd for a stunning meandering 10 mile scenic drive through the foothills. The round-trip road was opened as of November 2023 and can now loop all the way around – making this drive even better!

-Beckler Rd and NF-65 (1-2 hr.)
Just east of Skykomish, take Beckler Rd. It dead ends about 13 miles in due to a wash out years ago (same wash out as Index-Galena). At some point, Beckler Rd turns to NF-65

-Stevens Pass, Tumwater Canyon, Leavenworth, WA (4-6 hr.) Take Hwy 2 East towards the eastern (and often sunny) side of the mountains, through staggering mountain peaks as you cross Stevens Pass. Drive through Tumwater Canyon along the Wenatchee River and end in the Bavarian themed village of Leavenworth where you can stroll their riverfront promenade, shopping, putt-putt golf and more!
